Privacy at a glance

Your practices, reflections, settings and Make Space photos are stored on your device. They are copied to your private iCloud database only if you turn on iCloud sync. Creating an optional account sends basic account and profile information to our account provider, but does not upload your practices or photos.

The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not use your app data for cross-app tracking.

Information stored by the app

• Practice history: practice type, start and completion dates, duration, prompts, themes, breath settings, completion state and optional reflections.
• Make Space: photos you take in the app, optional notes, and whether or when an item was released. Optimised photo copies are stored in the app’s private storage.
• Preferences: practice durations, sound, music, haptics, reminder time, iCloud sync choice and Focus Shield selections.
• Health write status: whether a completed mindful practice was written to Apple Health and the identifier needed to avoid duplicate entries.

Device permissions and Apple features

• Camera: used when you choose to photograph an item for Make Space. The app does not browse your Photo Library.
• Microphone and speech recognition: used when you choose dictation. Audio and transcribed text are handled through Apple’s speech-recognition service; processing may occur on device or through Apple depending on system availability.
• Location while using the app: one current coordinate is used in memory to determine the local hemisphere and season. The app does not retain that coordinate or send it to LND apps.
• Apple Health: with permission, the app writes completed mindful-session duration and dates. It does not read Health data.
• Focus Shield: Apple’s Family Controls framework provides opaque selections for apps and categories you choose to shield. The app does not receive their names or browsing history.
• Notifications: the app can schedule a local reminder at the time you choose. Reminder settings stay on the device, or in your private iCloud data if sync is enabled.

You can change these permissions in iOS Settings. Turning off a permission limits only the feature that needs it.

Optional iCloud sync and account

iCloud sync is off by default. If you enable it, Apple CloudKit stores your practice history, reflections, preferences, release state and Make Space photos in your private iCloud database so they can be restored or used across your devices signed in to the same Apple account.

If you create an optional DeclutterAI account, our Supabase-hosted account service processes your email address, account identifier, name if supplied, authentication method, account timestamps and secure session credentials. Apple or Google also processes information when you choose its sign-in option. Practice history, reflections and photos are not sent to the account service by the current app.

Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain. Password-reset requests are delivered to the email address associated with the account.

Service providers and purchases

Apple provides iCloud, HealthKit, speech recognition, Family Controls, notifications, Sign in with Apple and App Store purchase services under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. Supabase provides optional account authentication and profile storage. Google provides authentication only if you choose Google sign-in.

Any App Store purchase or subscription is processed by Apple. The app receives transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock features; LND apps does not receive your full payment-card details.

Retention, deletion and your controls

• Delete individual practices, notes or Make Space items using the controls available in the app.
• Use Delete iCloud Backup in the app to delete the app’s private CloudKit backup and turn off sync.
• Deleting the app removes its device-local data, subject to iOS backups you control. It does not automatically delete an optional account or any private iCloud backup you have kept.
• Signing out removes the local account session. To request deletion of an optional account and associated profile, contact us using the address below.

We keep optional account information until the account is deleted or as required for security, legal or dispute purposes.

Contact and policy changes

For privacy questions or an account-deletion request, email support@lndapps.com and include “DeclutterAI privacy” in the subject. We may update this policy when the app or its services change; the date above shows the latest revision.
