These terms apply to your use of Orator, also named “Orator:speaking coach”, published by LND apps. By using Orator, you agree to these terms.
Agreement and licence
When obtained through Apple’s App Store, Orator is subject to Apple’s standard end-user licence agreement unless a custom licence is shown in its App Store listing. These terms supplement the applicable licence and App Store terms.
Practice and automated feedback
Orator provides speaking and vocabulary practice with automated transcription, measurements and feedback. Recognition and scoring can be affected by accents, language support, background noise, microphone quality and other conditions. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not guarantee a particular speaking outcome.
Orator is intended for personal practice and education. It is not a clinical assessment or a replacement for professional speech or language care.
Your scripts and recordings
You retain your rights in the scripts and recordings you create. Only record or use content you have permission to use, and respect other people’s privacy and rights. You are responsible for keeping any copies you need; the app keeps a limited set of recent recordings and older audio may be removed automatically.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Orator, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use it to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
Availability and changes
We may update, improve or discontinue features. Speech activities depend on microphone permission and Apple’s on-device recognition support for your language and device. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not limit consumer rights that apply where you live and cannot legally be limited.
