This policy applies to SpinTracker, published by LND apps, and explains the current app’s data practices.
Privacy at a glance
SpinTracker stores your rides, coaching choices and settings on your device. It does not create a LND apps account, upload ride history to LND apps or include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
If you enable Health or connect Apple Music or Spotify, those services process the information needed for the features you choose under their own terms and privacy policies.
Ride and coaching data
Saved rides can include date and duration; cadence, resistance, distance and calorie estimates; notes; workout segments; sampled heart-rate readings; estimated maximum heart rate; difficulty and preset details; coaching metadata and feedback. This history is stored in the app’s private Documents storage.
Coaching preferences stored locally can include your purpose, weekly target, preferred durations, resistance settings, heart-rate preference, coach status, readiness check-in, rest date and planned ride days. Your age may be stored locally to estimate heart-rate zones.
Apple Health
With your permission, SpinTracker requests read access to heart rate, active energy, walking or running distance, cycling cadence and workouts, and write access to workouts, active energy, distance and cycling cadence. The current app uses live heart-rate readings during a ride and can save an indoor cycling workout with active energy and distance to Apple Health.
Health data is used only to provide ride tracking, zones, summaries and Health integration. It is not used for advertising, sold, or sent to LND apps. You control Health access in the Health app or iOS Settings, and you can view or delete records written to Health using Apple’s controls.
Apple Music and Spotify
If you choose Apple Music, MusicKit reads your library playlists and the track information needed to browse and play them. SpinTracker stores the selected music provider and playlist identifier, name and track count locally.
If you connect Spotify, SpinTracker requests permission to control playback and read private or collaborative playlists and basic account status. Spotify access and refresh tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain and marked device-only. Playlist and track information is requested from Spotify when you use those features. You can revoke SpinTracker’s access in your Spotify account settings.
Apple and Spotify process music-service information under their respective privacy policies. LND apps does not receive your music account password.
App Store purchases
Apple processes purchases and subscriptions. SpinTracker receives transaction and entitlement status needed to provide premium access and may store local trial or usage status. LND apps does not receive your full payment-card details.
Retention, deletion and your controls
- Delete individual rides from the ride history or ride-detail screen.
- Choose no music to remove the saved playlist selection, and revoke SpinTracker from your Spotify account to withdraw Spotify access.
- Change Health, Apple Music and other permissions in iOS Settings.
- Deleting SpinTracker removes its locally stored rides, preferences and credentials, subject to device backups you control. Health records already written to Apple Health remain until you remove them through Apple’s controls.
